Reflections

Coral Reef PTSA will be participating in the National PTA Reflections Art program.  The National PTA’s Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

 

Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student selected theme.  This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

The theme for the 2025-2026 program is “I Belong!” Students can submit their completed works of art in one or all the available categories:
 

• Dance Choreography

• Film Production

• Literature

• Music Composition

• Photography

• Visual Arts

• Accessible Artist

 

Students interested in participating need to review the guidelines for their category and complete an entry form to be included with their work. Attached is the entry form that can be shared with students.  Students can also explore the 2025-2026 theme "I Belong" by accessing the site at https://ptaourchildren.org/explore-the-2025-2026-pta-reflections-theme-i-belong/.

Students can drop off their work any Wednesday during lunchtime in the PTSA room in the attendance office or make arrangements to submit their work by emailing CRHSReflections@gmail.com.

 

All students who enter will receive a certificate acknowledging their participation. The top five entries from each category will represent the school at the district level and can advance to the state and national level for recognition and awards.

 

Deadline for entries is November 1, 2025.
